Honour Roll

Honour Roll recognizes students for their academic achievement.

Intermediate criteria (Grades 7,8):

• Student must have a minimum of an 80% average overall.
• No subject can be below 70%.

Junior criteria (Grades 4-6):

• Students must have a minimum 6 A’s in core subject areas. (3 out of 4 strands in English and 3 out of 5 math must be A’s) AND
• minimum 3 A’s in non-core subject areas (Art, Music etc.) AND
• No grade lower than B

Primary criteria (Grades 1-3):

Not awarding honours.


Award of Merit: (E.A.G.L.E.)

Award of Merit recognizes students for achievement in the area of learning skills.

Intermediate criteria (Grades 7, 8):

Students must have E’s in 5 out of the 6 areas. There can be no S’s or N’s.

Junior criteria (Grades 4-6):

Students must have E’s in 5 out of the 6 areas. There can be no S’s or N’s.

Primary criteria (Grades 1-3):

Students must have E’s in 4 out of the 6 areas. There can be no S’s or N’s.
